A
Natural White Fillings is a UV light cured substance which bonds
to your natural teeth. After a tooth is prepared to receive the
filling a bonding material is applied to the tooth and cured .
Then the filling material is applied and is also cured with the
UV light. This process is repeated till the tooth is filled.
Finally the tooth is given its final form by biting a
articulating paper to adjust the bite and accommodate the shape
. This is accomplished by biting a piece of articulation paper
which will leave a small amount of ink on the tooth to tell the
Doctor where to file the tooth down to adjust the bite. This is
the best type of filling . It looks natural and in most cases
last the longest. This type of fillings will last a long time.
Will not corrode, or seep saliva, creating a cavity underneath
the filling. The down side is that these types of fillings are
in time they may change color and will need to be changed in
front teeth. Also this type of filling is made for small
cavities and not for fractured teeth. in the case of fractured
teeth the Doctor may recommend a crown.
