to recover lost tooth surface. A root canal is a procedure to
save a tooth by removing the nerves and veins which are infected
by decay.

Fabricated
posts are molded to the inside of your tooth after a root canal
has been preformed. This type of post is made in the dental lab
in about 1 hour. the primary reason for this type of post is to
strength the tooth and to recover lost tooth surface. Post is
cemented in tooth and then re-cut to its final shape before
taking a mold for a crown.
